Nonsense about reading, love, summer, etc.
Just finished Emily Griffin’s Something Borrowed and the sequel Something Blue. I started reading the first one after I saw the movie. One question - why do movies put false ideas of guys in our heads? Really though. Ones that send flowers and show signs of affection and all that lovey dovey stuff? Well this story isn’t the best to show what I’m talking about since it’s basically about a fiancé cheating on the other to be with the girl he really loves, but that’s beside the point. So many other books and shows and movies show the PERFECT guy, and frankly, they don’t exist. Hey there may be one in every let’s say 50, but I can’t say I’ve encountered one yet. I guess in the end we’ll (hopefully, knock on wood) end up with the “perfect” person we belong with. They won’t necessarily have to be perfect like in the movies, but if you love them I guess that makes them perfect to you right? maybe I’ll find some nice guy this summer, the summer before everything changes that’ll sweep me off my feet. A fling or the real deal! I just want to have someone, even if for a brief second, to fall my prince charming. Sorry just ranting - random thought. #random #thought #read #summer #love #guy #dream #hope
